‘IAC Rainha Silvia’ – new daylily cultivar


‘IAC Rainha Silvia’ is an ornamental plant produced by the hybridization of species of the Asiatic genus Hemerocallis, Hemerocallidaceae family. In the spring, it produces two floral escapes with 13 flowers with petals in two shades of dark rose and dark borders and crispy margin; the medium line and nerves are not visible. It is easily propagated by division. The plants bloom abundantly after one or two years of culture in open field. It offers a multipurpose product for landscape use. It can be planted as border along the paths and walls, or in groups as massifs. It is easy to care and very well adapted cultivar to the South, Southeast and Center-west region of the country.
