The article presents an overview of the system by understanding the territory as a cultural landscape, a product of the binomial nature-society, and also as a political strategy of the territory as a heritage assessment, seeking and finding identity. It emphasizes the need for a multiscale approach and presents the main instrument of territorial intervention (institutional arrangement, management, technical, analysis and intervention).
