Update of Article Processing Charges (APCs)

Dear Authors,

Since 2022, the journal Ornamental Horticulture has implemented a publication fee, a measure essential to ensure its continuity, maintain editorial quality, and support operational resources.

We hereby inform you that a new adjustment to the publication fee will take effect on March 1, 2026.

The fees charged for the publication of articles in the journal Ornamental Horticulture will be updated as follows:

 

Publication fee (applicable to articles submitted from March 1, 2026):

 

This fee will be mandatory for all manuscripts, including those submitted by SBFPO members and non-members, as well as editors and reviewers of the journal. The following Publication Fee amounts are established:

 

R$ 550.00

- 1st or 2nd author who is an SBFPO member, with membership dues fully paid.

OR

R$ 850.00

- 3rd or subsequent authors who are SBFPO members, even if membership dues are fully paid.

- Authors in any position with outstanding membership dues for the current year.

- Non-members of SBFPO.

 

Foreign authors: US$ 250.00

 

NOTE: An additional fee of R$ 50.00 (US$ 10.00 for foreign authors) will be charged per page exceeding the 20-page limit per article, formatted with 1.5 line spacing. This amount will be calculated based on the total number of pages in the WORD file submitted to the production team.

 

Payment of the publication fee will only be required after the author(s) receive the official acceptance letter.
