Growth of Sinningia leucotricha (Hoehne) Moore influenced by mineral nutrition

Abstract

The effect of the foliar fertilizer Bayfolan Extra A was observed on growth of S. leucotricha. The treatments were control O ml.l· 1, 25 ml.1·1,SO ml.i-1, 75 ml.I-1 and 100 ml.1·1 under a regímen of 2 ml solution per bottle, in altemate days. The parameter considered were: plant heigth, leaf length, root length, number of leaves, and number of stems. The treatment of 25 ml.1·1 of Bayfolan Extra A promoted the best growth, and higher leveis were harmful.
