Abstract

Sinningia leucotricha (Hoehne) Moore (rainha-do-abismo) flowers in differents stages of development were utilized for measurements, description and photographic documentation. ln assays of crossing the "Queen of Abyss" flowers must to be emasculate with 3 cm (stage 3) of length when the anthers are closed, without risk of autopollination. The flowers exhibit a protandric dichogamy as severe than difficultated the self - fertilization, but don't impede totally.
