Publication Fees

From the 1st. September 2022*, the journal Ornamental Horticulture of the Brazilian Society of Floriculture and Ornamental Plants (SBFPO) will adopt new Publication Fees values for Brazilian authors and also introduce the publication fees for foreign authors. All manuscripts submitted after this date and ACCEPTED, regardless of the number of pages or figures, must pay the publication fee.

The charge of the publication fee consists of subsidizing the journal's minimum operating costs (website maintenance, layout process, XML markup and online availability of the manuscript) since there is no other source of funding to maintain the activities.

Publication Fees:

Brazilian authors:

R$ 220.00 = 1st or 2nd author Member of SBFPO (annuity up to date in the year of the manuscript publication).

R$ 340.00 = 3rd or other authors, members of SBFPO (membership current year of the manuscript publication); or, an author in any position with membership fee not paid in the year of publication of the manuscript; or authors are not SBFPO members.

Foreign authors: US$100.00
