Adjustment in Publication Fees!

Dear Authors,

Since 2022, the journal Ornamental Horticulture has implemented a publication fee, which is essential to ensure its continuity, quality, and operational resources.

Considering the authors, we have kept the publication fee unchanged for the last two and a half years, absorbing increases in publishing costs. However, due to adjustments by service providers, we inform you that, starting from October 1, 2024, the publication fee will be adjusted.

The new publication fees for Ornamental Horticulture articles will be as follows:

Publication Fee (applicable to articles approved from October 1, 2024):
This fee will be mandatory for all articles, regardless of whether the authors are members or non-members of SBFPO, editors, or reviewers of the journal. Therefore, the following publication fees are established:

• R$ 340.00
  1st or 2nd author who is a member of SBFPO with up-to-date membership.
  OR
• R$ 550.00
  3rd or subsequent authors, SBFPO members, even with up-to-date membership.
  Any author (regardless of position) with overdue membership in the current year.
  Non-members of SBFPO.

Foreign Authors: US$ 200.00

NOTE: An additional fee of R$ 30.00 (for foreign authors, based on the exchange rate of the day) will be charged for each page exceeding the limit of 20 pages per article with 1.5 line spacing. This amount will be calculated based on the number of pages in the WORD file submitted to the editorial team.

The payment of the publication fee will only be requested after the author(s) receive the acceptance letter.
