The journal “Ornamental Horticulture” has been included in the 2026 OA International Recommended Journal List (OARL)

Ornamental Horticulture has been included in the International OA Journal Recommended List (OARL) 2026!

It is with great pleasure that we share this latest recognition for the journal Ornamental Horticulture, which has been included in the International OA Journal Recommended List (OARL) 2026, an international initiative that recommends open-access scientific journals committed to editorial quality and best practices in scientific publishing.

Established in 2024 in China, the OARL is jointly organized by Tsinghua University Library, the Society of China University Journals, and the China National Publications Import & Export (Group) Corporation (CNPIEC).

The evaluation considers three key dimensions:
🔹 Editorial practices: transparency, ethics, and consistency in publications;
🔹 Quality control: scientific rigor and quality of peer review;
🔹 Open access practices: transparency of access policies, licenses, and copyright.

This inclusion represents an important recognition of Ornamental Horticulture’s commitment to editorial quality, scientific ethics, transparency, and the dissemination of scientific knowledge through open access.

It is yet another achievement built on the collective work of editors, reviewers, authors, and contributors who continually contribute to strengthening the journal and scientific research in ornamental horticulture.

We continue to work to increase international visibility and enhance the quality of scientific publications in the field of ornamental horticulture.

We invite the scientific community to submit their papers to the journal Ornamental Horticulture, thereby contributing to the dissemination and advancement of scientific research in the field of ornamental horticulture.
