Ornamental aroids cultivated in the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden: Toe Genus Montrichardia Crueg.

Abstract

This paper presents the species of the genus Montrichardia Crueg., cultivated at Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden, na tive in the of Brazilian vegetation and utilized as ornamental. A dichotomical key, illustrations, geographical distribution, use in landscape gardening and localization in the park are presented.
